Danny Williams, the president of the 100 Mile House Food Bank Society, said that while they've been able to meet demand so far, more people are signing up to receive food every day now. This high demand has forced the food bank to make the difficult decision to cut their food hamper days from twice a month to once a month starting in June.
By Patrick Davies| Coast Mountain News Verified The 100 Mile House RCMP are investigating a single-vehicle rollover that led to the death of a Northern B.C. man on Highway 97. Sgt. Brian Lamb said that RCMP received a report at 1:36 a.m. on Saturday, April 12 of a single-vehicle rollover that took place on Highway 97 near Maze Lake Road north of Lac La Hache. On arrival police and EHS found the vehicle off the highway and in the ditch.
