Biography

My name is Patrick Gamble and I’m a freelance film and restaurant critic. I’ve written about film for a assortment of organisations such as; UK industry magazine Film3Sixty, the award winning UK film blog Cine Vue, Russian/UK cultural exchange website Kompass UK and as a UK correspondent during the Edinburgh Film Festival for Indiewire. I’m also a restaurant critic for the entertainment section of an employment site for lawyers (Law & More). I’m currently in the middle of a creative writing course and hope to expand my writing horizons in the near future. I’ve been privileged enough to attend numerous film festivals, gala events and have had coverage appear in various outlets. My work has also appeared in a series of poster and trailer quotes. I primarily pen reviews but I also have extensive experience writing articles, interviews and new stories. Last year I was nominated for the Richard Attenborough award for ‘best blogger’ at the UK regional film awards.
