Biography
Patrick Hadley is an entrepreneur, investor, and teacher happy to help all entrepreneurs reach their goals I love business, leading, and being part of a great team. I graduated from UMASS, Amherst, and worked in sales and marketing for a couple of giant companies before venturing out on my own. My first business was publishing a college entertainment magazine in New York City, which I started with about $50,000 in credit card debt. UniverCity Magazine interviewed celebrities and bands from Madonna to Brad Pitt. Our advertisers included major brands and movie studios. We expanded the publication to multiple markets and then sold it. (technically, I sold the website during the dot com boom). My next business was an entertainment experiential marketing, events & media agency, called HADLEY MEDIA. Hadley Media created and produced experiential marketing services, stunts and live events mostly for television studios and major brands including FOX Broadcasting, FX, NETFLIX, Marvel, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, NBC Universal, SYFY Network, Nickelodeon, Levi’s, TBS, and many more. Hadley Media produced events in every major U.S. city and internationally in London, Paris, Berlin, Rio, Mexico City, Toronto, Montreal, and Sydney. Hadley Media won many industry awards and was acquired in 2017. (You can read more about that here.) I have won awards for our work at Hadley Media, including Hatch Magazine’s “The 12 Most Important People in Design Right Now”. (You can read more about that here) but I believe that awards are actually won by teams, not individuals. You can watch some of our fun project videos here. I have produced three films, the first was THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TRACKS, which was distributed domestically on cable by Showtime Networks and worldwide via 20th Century Fox Television International. Next was a passion project called, FOUR FOR FOUR, The Kyle Dake Story, a documentary about the only person to win 4 NCAA Championships at 4 different weight classes, in 4 years. And the third was a film called FINDING CENTER, a documentary about a family dealing with Autism. I have volunteered as a youth sports coach including 4 years at a competitive soccer club in Southern California. I have been on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Forbes Agency Council. I was chosen to participate in the US Navy ‘Leaders To Sea’ program and landed and catapulted on/off the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier. My other businesses currently include a travel magazine, a nutrition & fitness site, and of course, my experiential marketing, branding, and content agency. I even own a patent and a trademark for a cool table tennis game that I invented called XPONG. I am always happy to help other entrepreneurs and businesses with anything from sales, raising money, creative marketing, SEO, day-to-day operations or M&A, etc. I recently started to teach an entrepreneur course to share some of my experiences with other entrepreneurs. Yes, I stay busy but I love it! Let me know how I can help.
