City Council was held on the evening of April 8th inside the council chambers at City Hall; the meeting opened with closed session at 4:00 PM followed by open session at 5:00 PM.   After mayor Marquette Hawkins called the meeting to order, the pledge/invocation (done by Pastor Goodell) and roll call, a motion by councilmember Michael Hurles and seconded by councilmember Ron Smith was head to approve the agenda as presented; motion passed.
