    By Paul Miller Verified| Gloucester Daily Times Verified Every so often during this time of year when Christmas trees are being sold on the street and I happen to be driving on Eastern Avenue near the intersection of Main Street, I’ll look at where Mondello’s garage used to be, next to the old VFW and H.C. Brown Co. and I’ll remember Uncle Frank. I didn’t know who Frank Mondello was then, but to me, he is and will always be remembered as a man who offered a kind gesture to two kids on a cold, windy and snowy Christmas Eve night many years ago.
