Specialist police officers are supporting the families of two men, aged 20 and 42. Both bikers died at the scene of the incidents, which happened on the single-carriageway stretch between Braintree and Coggeshall, a route popular with motorists from the Bishop’s Stortford heading to the Essex coast.
