Reporter, Northern Public Radio

Illinois

Biography

I’m a reporter at Northern Public Radio (89.5 WNIJ) and a recent North Central College graduate. I cover education and public policy issues across Northern Illinois. Find us at wnij.org or, you know, on the radio. During my time at North Central, I was the news editor and copy editor of our award-winning student-run media publication The Chronicle, known online as ncclinked.com. I co-hosted an interview show exclusive to the publication’s Facebook page highlighting campus artists and musicians. I was an on-air personality and sports broadcaster at WONC 89.1. I also worked briefly as a reporter for Naperville Community Television.

Doesn’t Cover

We're a relatively small NPR member station, so I sometimes cover stories outside of my beat if it's important to our listeners. That being said, I usually do not cover topics like crime and courts.
