(WKYT) - A southern Kentucky dairy farmer has a lot of work to do in the wake of a storm system that came through two weeks ago. That system of winds, including at least one tornado, damaged multiple structures in Lincoln and Garrard Counties. Boyd Coleman’s dairy farm on Ky. 198 in McKinney suffered major damage. A barn was destroyed, and others were damaged. “We milk cows twice a day, 7 days a week here,” said Coleman.

Buffalo Trace in Frankfort was largely under water when the Kentucky River jumped its banks. The distillery is hoping to resume full operations soon, but the visitor center will likely remain closed for a while. Historic flooding happened in Franklin County, and the distillery was impacted in a major way.
