The Daily Mail, one of the leading British tabloids, which leaked the report, claimed that Hindutva forces are forming alliances with far-right groups over their ‘common hatred’ towards Muslims.

The UK Home Office report stated that “Hindutva nationalist extremism played a part in inciting hate among local communities” that led to serious disturbances in Leicester.
