By Rabia Shireen| The Cognate@ Maharashtra government has set up a panel called ‘Inter-caste/Inter-faith marriage-family coordination committee’ which will gather information about the inter-caste or inter-faith marriage couples and the maternal families of the women involved if they are estranged. According to a government resolution issued on Tuesday, the panel will be headed by the state’s Women and Child Development Department Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha.

In his letter to the chairman, Ravikumar said that this Bill seeks to ban any company from advertising with a claim that a religious institution has certified the food product, according to The Hindu.

The decision taken in the interest of students from rural Karnataka was made during the general council meeting of the KSHEC on Wednesday. The students enrolled in Undergraduate and postgraduate courses can write their exams in English, Kannada or mix both the languages while answering.
