The call came in around 11 a.m. about a pony spotted in the median near mile marker 44 in LaPorte County. Two troopers rushed to the scene, but when they arrived, the pony was nowhere to be found. "It's one of those more unusual calls, but we get unusual things from time to time," ISP Sgt. Ted Bohner said.
