I am a spirits and culture writer based in the New York metro area. After years of writing about entertainment for BET, Billboard, Essence, MTV and more, I decided to turn my focus to spirits, cocktails and the hospitality industry — as an homage to his late father, a bartender. Since then, I’ve written for Food Network, Foodbeast, Thirsty, The Alcohol Professor and The Whiskey Lifestyle, among others.
