Biography

Renee Moodie is a senior journalist who draws on decades of print and online experience to offer a range of writing, editing, training and consultancy services. She worked as a reporter on the Cape Times (a morning newspaper in Cape Town) before moving into sub-editing at the city afternoon paper, the Cape Argus. She then moved to online journalism at Independent Online, which was founded in the very early days of Internet news sites in South Africa. In her years at Independent Online, she did it all: editing stories at speed; running the front page; working on various entertainment and lifestyle channels; live blogging; finding free pictures; setting up social media channels… the list goes on. She never did figure out what happened to all the milk in the fridge though.
