Jeremy Hodges, resident construction engineer for Greenwood with South Carolina Department of Transportation, says crews are working to make the finishing touches this week. “Once people see the signs are gone, they can use the bridge,” Hodges said. Construction and detour signs have been the norm since the bridge officially closed on Jan. 11, 2022.
