Police say the robbery happened just before 8:30 a.m. Officials say the suspect tried to use counterfeit money and assaulted the cashier. Police say the suspect stole money from the register and left the scene. The suspect is described as a white male wearing a gray hoodie, camo hat, dark pants, dark shoes, and dark hair. The investigation is ongoing.
