The new trial came after a judge declared a mistrial on July 23, 2024, in Childs' first trial after something that was said during witness testimony.

    By Rich Nye Verified| WHAS-TV (Louisville, KY) Verified INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man charged with murdering most of his family in 2021 was found guilty of all six murder charges against him, the Marion County Prosecutor's Office confirmed to 13News Friday. A new trial for Raymond Childs III began Oct 21. On July 23, a judge declared a mistrial in Childs' first trial after something that was said during witness testimony. Childs faced the six murder charges in connection with the crime carried out at an east Indianapolis home.
