The duo won their respective races in the women's slalom and the men's 20K classic on Saturday as the Big Green closed out the Colby Carnival with a victory by 129.5 points over second-place Vermont, 912.5 to 783, their largest margin of victory in five years. The temperature was cold but the Dartmouth skiers ran hot at Sugarloaf.
By Rick Bender| Dartmouth College Athletics Verified CARRABASSETT VALLEY/WATERVILLE, Maine — With victories for juniors John Steel Hagenbuch and Allie Resnick, along with two other podiums, the Dartmouth ski team finished up the first day of the Colby Carnival ahead of the field with 453.5 points. Vermont closed out the day in second with 402, while Middlebury amassed 374 to claim third. Hagenbuch continued his dominance of the men's Nordic races, winning for the third time in three events thus far this season.
