Biography
I’ve been writing professionally since 2004, but the truth is, I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t putting words together. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to work as Beauty Editor at Cosmopolitan and Good Housekeeping, and later as a freelance writer for multiple U.S.-based outlets—all from the comfort of my desk at home. Along the way, I’ve had some amazing opportunities and met incredible people. My path here wasn’t exactly straight. I first set out to study medicine, then earned a degree in software engineering. But during college, I started covering campus news for The Statesman, a national daily, and that was it; I knew I was meant to write, not code. Since then, I’ve worn many hats: intern, on-site staffer, freelancer, remote writer, even self-employed author. My first book, The Remnants of Fate, was published by Aravalli and is available on Amazon. As a freelancer, I’ve written for BrightSide.me, Ranker, The Blast, Grunge, Basmati, The Richest, HotCars, and LifeHack, mostly on topics I love—pop culture, movies, beauty, health, parenting, relationships, celebrities, true crime, and articles of general interest. I take pride in delivering clean, engaging, well-researched copy on time. I’m comfortable with SEO, CMS, Asana, Slack, Photoshop, and all the little tools that help keep things running smoothly. Colleagues often count on me for my time management, attention to detail, and editing eye. On a personal note, I’m a BIPOC cis-gender woman from India. Outside of writing, I’m a wife, mom of two boys (and a dog), and the sort of cook who can turn leftovers into something pretty delicious.

By Rima Pundir| Ranker@ Natalia Grace Barnett is a Ukraine-born American with dwarfism who was adopted by the Barnetts in 2010, only to be abandoned by them a year later. At the time of her adoption, Natalia was around seven, but before the Barnetts left her, they managed to get her birth year changed to 1989. This backed up their claim that she was an adult and enabled the Barnetts to wash their hands of her
By Rima Pundir| Ranker@ Good movies and TV shows are nothing with their great villains. We all have our list of most hated fictional characters - individuals who do annoying, awful, or downright evil things, but in such spectacular fashion you can't help but tip your hat to them. And 2025's entertainment crop is no different in terms of memorable baddies
By Rima Pundir| Ranker@ Hollywood in the '90s is often described as being in its blockbuster era. Tinseltown released hits and cultural phenomena during this stretch, but many films also courted controversy - particularly teen movies. Teen movies by their very nature often tackle issues that raise eyebrows. After all, the characters are struggling with sexuality, angst, and coming-of-age. Top all that with some risqué dialogue and scenes, and you have a perfect storm
