Biography
Currently I am a full-time national writer working for the largest commercial publisher in the United Kingdom. I have written extensively for print and digital publications over the past few years. I was the sports editor with The Newark/Southwell Advertiser and also worked as a news reporter. I covered sports for Lincolnshire Online as well and was also a features writer for the site. My experience extends to a freelance capacity where I worked alongside several agencies and have also contributed to many of the titles in the National World portfolio. I wrote over 4,000 articles in three years, with less than 10% of these being press releases. My work ethic, attitude and mentality is second to none, I have a strong reputation for being a top performer across any workplace where I have been employed. A photojournalist by trade, I have been exhibited all over the world with my photography. My work has appeared in over 100 galleries in over 40 countries. I am a full member of the Sports Journalist Association and a Getty Images certified photographer. My first job after leaving high school was serving in the army as an infantry soldier where I was deployed several times. I have previously worked predominantly in both banking and the Civil Service. I can keep my cool in challenging environments and think outside the box when looking for stories. I love to travel, meet people and read. I am able to travel freely between Australia and the UK.
Everything except football. Might be interested in cycling.
