My name is Robert S Adleman. I put together this Podcast because I wasted a good part of my life not understanding why I was so different. Many years later I found that I was neurodivergent with at least ADHD. At eleven, in 1970, my family moved, and I entered junior high. Soon after the move I developed OCD, Anxiety and Depression. There was no information about Mental Health and my WW2 parents had not a clue. So, I went untreated until over 20 years later working in IT I collapsed mentally and entered the hospital and got some of the help I desperately needed. So, I learned about mental health, I have been learning ever since. Finally in 2019 I got the final piece from an unexpected source. The rap artist NF dropped some albums and sang about his mental health. His songs woke me up. I became determined to start a podcast about Mental Health for two main reasons. To reach those 11-year-old children and people of all ages with the often untold truth about Mental health issues and bring all the pieces to the people that so desperately need it and to obliterate the stigma forever.
