It saddened me this week to hear that Val Kilmer died of pneumonia this week at the age of 65. He had been struggling with throat cancer for some time, but I always thought he’d be back to do one more movie, kind of like he did with Top Gun Maverick. But, sadly, he is gone. Still, the legacy he leaves behind is absolutely astonishing on the Gen X front.
