Capital murder suspect involved in shooting that injured Dallas police officer released from hospital, taken into custody
By Robyn Geske| KRLD-AM (Dallas, TX) Verified The man who was shot by police during an arrest earlier this month is finally out of the hospital and in the Dallas County jail. 20-year-old Jordan Owens was critically injured after getting into a shootout with a task force that was making an arrest on a capital murder warrant. An officer was also wounded but is recovering. Owens was wanted for a murder that happened the day before and about a mile away. Owens faces eight felony charges and is held on a $1.5 million bond.
