The Arrows held off defending champion Mitchell to win the 2024 state Class AA tournament by three shots, giving Watertown its first state golf championship since winning back-to-back state Class A titles under the old two-class system in 1978 and 1979.

The Arrow tennis team improved to 3-2 on the season by recording a 7-2 win over Sioux Falls Jefferson in an early afternoon dual at the Highland Park tennis courts. Later in the day, Watertown's softball team (1-2 on the season) used a four-run fifth inning to break into the win column with a 5-4 victory over Pierre in a game played at the PREMIER Softball Complex.
