Biography

Hi! I'm Rory! I'm an accomplished and passionate games journalist and YouTube creator with over four years of experience in games media, with successful work in both online and print media. Currently a Guides Editor at Gfinity (including StealthOptional and SiegeGG). Previously Staff Writer at The Loadout. Seen at: PCGamesN, TechRaptor, SUPERJUMP, and Lost in Cult. I have developed my journalistic skills across a wide breadth of content, including features, guides, op-eds, reviews, and interviews. Having studied History at university, I love to cover topics through this lens, whether that be the development stories behind the biggest and best games, or how our real-world history has impacted the industry. Besides writing articles, I am also a video producer for my own page on YouTube. I write, voice, record footage, edit, and post these videos by myself. This makes me well-versed in several fields, including SEO, graphics design, and content creation.

  • All Schedule 1 employees and how they work

By Rory Norris Verified| PC Gamer Verified One of the best ways to improve your income in Schedule 1 is to hire employees. These workers can be assigned to various tasks, which they'll handle on your behalf. You'll have to pay them a wage, unfortunately, but it's worth it in the long run. When you first unlock employees, you won't want to immediately go on a hiring spree. Workers aren't cheap, and you don't have much room in the sweatshop or bungalow to fit everyone anyhow.

  • How to use the brick press in Schedule 1

By Rory Norris Verified| PC Gamer Verified Making heaps of product in Schedule 1 is only half the battle–you'll also need to sell it, which generally means stocking up your dealers. The problem is that their inventories are incredibly small, only able to carry five different items at once. Using the brick press lets you bypass this limit somewhat, squashing stacks of drugs down to make your dealers more efficient. The brick press is similar to the jar, which also lets you stack items into a single item slot.

  • Best Schedule 1 barn setup and layout

By Rory Norris Verified| PC Gamer Verified So you've gone from a motel room to an apartment and a bungalow, and now it's time for the barn. This building finally gives you enough space to properly play around with fully automated production lines in Schedule 1, letting you make heaps of cash without lifting a finger. You'll still have to take the product to your dealers, but that's it. After experimenting with various layouts and employee routes, I've concocted the best Schedule 1 barn setup.
