I am currently a freelance data reporter for USAFacts. I recently graduated from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, where I majored in journalism and minored in Spanish, ethnic studies, and women’s & gender studies. Previously, I was an Investigative Unit intern at NBC Bay Area and the inaugural intern for the Global Investigations team of The Associated Press through the Ida B. Wells Society for Investigative Reporting. Before that role, I was the senior news producer at KSBY, the local news station in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties, for two years.
