Emergency services were alerted to the inferno just after 2pm with the fire affecting the roof of the venue. Specialist resources have also been dispatched to the scene on Main Road.

  • Police 'aware' of incident involving woman in Kilmarnock's Howard Park

A post on social media alleged that the woman "attempted to take a little girl's hand" in the Howard Park. The complainant then goes on to accuse the woman of taking a video of his son who was on the zipslide at the time. The accuser claims that he challenged the woman and the matter was reported to the police. Police say that enquiries are at an early stage.
