Cooper had been scheduled Monday for a pretrial hearing in Lincoln County District Court, but Troshynski asked for a continuance to Aug. 19 so Cooper and the Lincoln County Attorney's Office can continue working on a plea agreement. Cooper is charged with two felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse by a school employee, third-degree sexual abuse by a school employee and tampering with a witness.
