(WCTV) - Florida Highway Patrol has completely reopened Interstate 10 in Tallahassee after two crashes partially blocked the road during heavy rain in the area Monday. Two separate crashes caused FHP to shut down the outside and middle lanes on the westbound side of the roadway at about 3:30 p.m. The roadways reopened at about 5:30 p.m., after previously being backed up from near mile marker 197 to near exit 202.
By Ryan Kaufman Verified| WCTV-TV (Tallahassee, FL) Verified TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season begins Saturday, and experts predict an above-average season. And with this prediction comes an all too important question. Are you prepared? NOAA and the National Weather Service are predicting the 2024 season to have an 85% chance of being “above normal” with anywhere between 17 and 25 named storms. NOAA is also predicting a total of 8-13 hurricanes, with 4-7 of those being “major” (category three or higher).
