With the series win, the Big Red snapped the Wildcats’ streak of winning 20 consecutive Big Ten series.

  • Three hurt after two vehicles collide at Yolande and Conrhusker

    By Ryan Swanigan Verified| KOLN/KGIN-TV (Lincoln, NE) Verified LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Three people were taken to a Lincoln hospital after a crash near the Belmont neighborhood on Sunday night. The crash happened around 9:45 p.m. at Yolande Avenue and Cornhusker Highway, involving two vehicles. Lincoln Fire and Rescue, as well as Lincoln Police were both on scene, with LFR paramedics transporting three patients. LPD has not released any information on the conditions of those who have been hospitalized. Police are investigating the crash.
