Biography
Currently, I am a student at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, earning a Master's of Investigative Journalism. Prior to moving to Arizona I received my Bachelor's in journalism from Mercer University. While at Mercer I poured hours into the student paper, The Cluster, where I wore many hats including managing editor, advertising manager, and lead news writer. My work has appeared in The (Macon) Telegraph, Georgia Public Broadcasting, 13WMAZ, The Macon Newsroom, and the Effingham Herald. I also spent three weeks in Peru producing audio, video, and photo content for my university. While at Mercer I also minored in French, history, and media studies. I am a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Alpha Theta, and Omicon Delta Kappa. Currently, I serve on the board of the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia Council and am a proud lifetime member of Girl Scouts as well as a Gold Awardee.
