Contracted out by the Greater Vallejo Recreation District to revise the center, One People Tribe founder Izzy Drumgoole says it’s been a slow process learning the ropes and engaging with the community.
By Saija Maki-Waller| The Reporter (Vacaville, CA) Verified Decked Out at The Quarters, a free music and entertainment event, is returning on April 27 after a successful first year in 2024. The event is put on by The Mare Island Company and is set to feature more than 20 local musicians, artists organizations and food and beverage trucks. Last year at the inaugural event, over 4,000 people attended. “We learned that we have a lot of fans of Mare Island,” laughs Director of Marketing Rebecca Kotch. This year, they are hoping to bring out even more of Vallejo.
