The UK's only beauty pageant historian, I am the author of four books about the beauty queen world. Misdemeanours: Beauty Queen Scandals, charts the biggest controversies and headlines from 1950 to present day, and was followed by More Misdemeanours, and Mis-3-meanours. In 2020, I marked the 75th anniversary of the Miss Great Britain pageant with The Official History of the contest. I am a judge for the biggest pageants in the world, including Miss Universe GB, Miss World Wales and England, and Miss International UK, and have been Head Judge for Miss Great Britain for the past 7 years. I have contributed to both national and local papers and numerous BBC and local radio shows.
