Biography

Sam Burros (he/him) is a writer, producer and cook currently working with the Food and Lifestyle team at PEOPLE Magazine. Prior to working with PEOPLE, Burros was an editorial fellow for Food Network, a reporter for Heritage Radio Network, and a recipe tester for Alison Roman’s cookbook Sweet Enough. He is currently a graduate student pursuing a Masters Degree in Food Studies at NYU Steinhardt. Before making the pivot to all things food, Burros studied theatre at NYU Tisch Drama where he met artistic collaborators and lifelong friends with whom he created Miss Jordan’s Spring 2020 Production, available to stream on Broadstream.
