But what then is the point of voting when a body which is totally unaccountable to us ultimately decides our fate?

Diogo Jota started the season there but injuries have meant he hasn’t had any real chance to find form or consistency there. Darwin Nunez is the natural backup but he’s been lacklustre at best and Arne Slot is clearly frustrated with him.
