Shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, someone walking on Piner Creek Trail in Santa Rosa stumbled across a person who appeared to be dead in the creek. First responders searched the area near Centurion Drive, discovering a dead man in the water shortly thereafter. Santa Rosa police are unsure of the man’s identity, but said he is a Caucasian male in his mid-60s.
