Biography
I'm an editor and writer with a background in travel, lodging, dining, and service journalism. I'm interested in staff positions that involve writing and reporting, editing, researching, and editorial planning. I have extensive experience in travel writing, especially lodging and guest amenities, with the ability to bring character and color into my descriptions of properties and destinations. I have a passion for all things travel, from what makes a hotel unique to how to navigate a destination to truly experience it. My web experience is varied and deep. At my current job I help plan the year-long editorial calendar, build and publish original content, transfer print stories to the web, write and push out social media posts, and think constantly about maintaining and engaging our audience. I've more recently started writing paid and sponsored content for clients. I've researched and written Deer Valley's Winter Guide for the last five seasons, and I also contribute regular content for a variety of clients through my company's marketing and advertising arm, Catapult. I look forward to starting a conversation with anyone looking for a quality writer and editor with voice, style, passion, and attention to detail.

Download the app. When I was a kid, the drive up to the ski area was one of my favorite parts. Gradually ascending from winter’s landscape of brown grass and gray asphalt into the deep greens of the pine trees and the snowy white peaks never failed to unlock my anticipation and love for skiing. In some ways, it was better than those first turns themselves. In my memories, at least.
