Biography
I'm currently a senior at the University of Minneosta, studying journalism and amplifying the voices of anyone with a story to tell. I will graduate in spring 2021. I have loved asking too many questions since I and anyone who knows me can remember, and firmly believe that storytelling is the heart of the human race. I have worked for student publications and professional publications alike, and have found that if you give me a city with a story to tell, I am happy doing journalism anywhere.

The Columbus Dispatch
The Columbus Dispatch is a historic daily newspaper based in Columbus, Ohio, and has been serving the community since its founding on July 1, 1871. As the city’s longest-running newspaper, it has documented significant events in local and national history for over 150 years. The Dispatch has evolved from its original conservative editorial stance to a more centrist approach, particularly noted during the 2016 election. The newspaper provides comprehensive coverage of local politics, business, sports, and culture, including Ohio State University athletics. It also maintains a searchable historical archive dating back to 1871, accessible through partnerships with local libraries. Special features include the popular “Cook’s Corner†recipe exchange column and a variety of comics and cartoons. In 2023, Gannett Co. donated the Dispatch’s photo archive to the Columbus Metropolitan Library for digitization, further enhancing public access to its historical content.
