As is often the case with Summertime thunderstorms, these have been quite scattered. While some areas have experienced drought-busting rain today, others have seen very little. Akron-Canton Airport: 4.22 inches of rain today. 4.17 inches of that was between 10:25 AM and 12:10 PM.

Any thunderstorm that does develop will have the capacity to produce heavy rain and gusty winds. Tonight’s other big weather story will be the stifling humidity across northeast Ohio. Thunderstorm chances will increase Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
