Biography
Santadeep Dey is the Deputy Team Lead of Sportstar, India’s No. 1 sports magazine. He is presently working as a Principal Correspondent and Chief Sub Editor. Despite having graduated from Chennai's Asian College of Journalism with a PGDip in Broadcast, he found his calling in print media. Now he is paid to watch and write primarily on cricket and shooting. However, he has also had the experience of covering all Olympic sports, having been the youngest Indian journalist to report from Birmingham during the 2022 Commonwealth Games. When not on the clock, Santadeep would either be found headbanging to metal or questioning his life's choices while listening to Pink Floyd. A failed lead singer-cum-guitarist, Santadeep also has a keen interest in watching comicbook-based movies. He can also be often found unleashing a mean forehand drive at the ping-pong table or window-shopping at ridiculously expensive superhero collectible stores.
