About 15 residents came out in the snow to voice their concern about the lack of parks to keep up with the increase in the development of single-family homes. The Ames Company is developing Bridle Creek to create more single-family homes. The property is about 80 acres and is south of Old Highway 169 Boulevard and west of Aberdeen Avenue. In 2005, the city approved plats for Bridle Creek additions.
