Biography

My experience in secondary research and data visualization at the biggest media houses in India has helped me understand the power of data and information in solving complex developmental challenges. I believe in adapting my working style and skillset to a given challenge and updating it on a proactive basis. As the content research lead for brands like Zee Media, India Today, Times Group and India TV, my role entailed analysis of content and data in multiple domains and empowering the broadcast team to present them accurately to the world. Analyzing national and international events, tracking factors like socio-economic changes, public policy decisions and political developments across the globe has been my core area of expertise. I am also credited with some popular info-graphic stories and analytical writings on the digital platforms of WION, Zee News and India Today. Throughout my education and career, I have collaborated with individuals from diverse backgrounds which has helped me to develop a cross-cultural awareness. During my Teach for India fellowship, I worked with 200 plus individuals shortlisted from a global application process with less than 4% selection rate. At the Executive Management Program from the Indian Institute of Management- Ahmedabad, my batch of 130 professionals joined from varied domains with work experience ranging from 6 to 25 years. Youth Citizen Service, a village immersion program designed in collaboration with Development Alternatives and Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) was another great opportunity for me to understand developmental challenges. Here, I contributed by undertaking a behavioural change project in three drought affected villages of Madhya Pradesh, India. I believe I have a not so common combination of multidisciplinary experience with a strong research background, backed by academic qualifications from India's premier institutes.

Going by absolute numbers, the vaccination drive in the United States is 1.5 times ahead of India. However, the real picture becomes more concerning the data with respect to their population is compared. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 121.8 million people or about 37% of the US population have been fully vaccinated.
