Approval is down four points from February, but up nine points from December. The totals include 15% who strongly approve and 20% who strongly disapprove. Most voters (57%) still name either inflation or other economic concerns as the most important voting issue. Last election cycle (and historically) voters trusted Republicans more on this topic. That is no longer true. On inflation, 42% now trust Democrats more than Republicans, while 38% take the opposite view
