(KION-TV) -- The National Weather Service in San Francisco has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of Santa Cruz County Wednesday. Northwestern Santa Cruz County in northern California is expected to see this warning until 3:30 p.m. PDT. At 2:43 p.m PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles west of Boulder Creek, or 15 miles northwest of Santa Cruz, moving northeast at 55 mph.
