  • Another way to spend my time

    By Scott Slade Verified| Pendleton Times-Post Verified During our 50-plus years of marriage, Susie and I have traveled much of this country and Canada enjoying a wide variety of activities. At last count, we had visited 36 states and three Canadian provinces to fill our time together. Twenty years ago, I could drive 18 hours to cover many miles to reach our destination. Ten years ago, I was only able to stay on the road about 12 hours, so some of our further locations would take two days to reach.
