Free Practice 1 begins Thursday at 10 a.m. local time on the 14-turn, 2.6-mile Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans, France. This year, we have even more reason to get excited about the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans because one of our own will be competing in the event.

A “Sconnie” through and through who hailed from Waupun, Wisconsin, Ray worked for Sam’s Well Drilling for more than three decades. As an expert well driller, his tenacity and strong determination helped him keep the water flowing for a lot of thankful people in the upper Midwest.
