Biography

Sebastien is a reporter in New York City who writes for Reuters. His work has also been published in print and online by TIME.com, The Guardian, The Atlantic and La Presse (Canada). He was previously a staff journalist at the Beirut Daily Star in Lebanon where he reported on international stories like Iran's nuclear program and Lebanon's security as well as general assignment stories. He holds a Master's degree (Hons.) from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a Master's in international affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. In a previous life, Sebastien worked for the United Nations Environment Programme, in Geneva, and for the Permanent Mission of Canada to the U.N., also in Geneva, where he lived and breathed international policy-making. He hails from Montreal, Canada.
