According to its website, the Chinese airline will fly four times per week with Airbus A350-900 aircraft configured for 331 or 337 passengers, being the only operator on this service. Madrid will be Sichuan’s fourth destination on the European continent, following Istanbul, Rome and St. Petersburg.

The Panamanian carrier will fly from Panama City’s Tocumen International Airport with Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft configured for 174 passengers in three classes (12 Business, 24 Economy Extra and 138 Economy), four times a week. Copa Airlines is the main operator in the Panama – U.S. market offering currently 15 routes, all of them to/from the Panamanian capital.
