I am a journalist and I do cover crime and policing. I started my career in 1994. After completing my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course at Sankar Institute of Polytechnic in 1993. I worked in The New Indian Express, Deccan Chronicle Ltd, and now with The Times of India from 2008 onwards. I also worked as a News Editor and Programme Editor on Air Media Network (AMN) TV. I am working as an Assistant Editor-Crime in The Times of India from 2008 onwards. I have completed MA (Journalism and Mass Communication), MA (Criminology and Police Administration), and MBA (general). I am an artist, well-versed in watercolour, acrylic, oil, and pencil medium). I have written poems in the crime genre.
