The open studio event has been growing ever since it started in Lowertown in 1991. Last year it included artist studios and galleries in about half of the city. This year it will reach all seven of the city’s wards, according to Mariusz Kujawski, executive director of the sponsoring Saint Paul Art Collective. The artists of Ward 2 will be featured on the first weekend, April 25-27.
