The goose made a nest under the famed centerfield scoreboard’s right side. Its black and white head poked out over the evergreens in the concrete planter, surveying the 35,000 fans on hand.

The fire tore through the roof of the granite, castle-like, Richardsonian Romanesque building at 4500 S. Michigan Ave. The fire broke out Sunday morning. No was hurt in the fire, according to the Chicago Fire Department. The cause of the fire was not yet released.
